The Australian Access Federation (AAF) invites the national research community to learn more about how the AAF uses single-sign-on (SSO) to enable collaboration in complex research environments.
About the event
One of the greatest challenges researchers, industry and the community find, is the ability to access services and data in dynamic collaborative research environments. Streamlining managed access to services, data and compute is crucial for driving collaboration, new knowledge, and industry engagement at an ever-faster pace.
AAF connects research environments nationally and globally including the CSIRO, Murchison Widefield Array, and the Australian BioCommons, and as a national capability in trust and identity, we are currently working with national research infrastructures to enable seamless and secure access to the entire national research ecosystem.
At the AAF, we implement a range of technologies to support seamless and secure access, and in this session we will explore how CILogon supports an advanced research Federation through an integrated open-source identity and access management platform.
This session will also cover how it aligns with national and international trust and identity efforts, as well as presenting case studies from our community.
